It is COLD!!
We don't have it as bad here as in other places, but it is cold. We didn't get much snow, but the winds and sub-zero temps are horrible.
I have my little wall quilt up for Christmas. That and a small fiber optic Christmas tree are all the decorating we did this year.
The ornaments are 4-inch paper pieced blocks. We don't do much decorating anyway, but with the curious kitties this year I thought it best to not do much of anything.
I got my hand quilting frame out and put the last of three vintage quilts for my friend on it.
It's an old quilt with a lot of bias in those squares. There is some wonkiness and wavy borders. I sprayed it with water and let it dry. That helped a lot.
Notice the pieced pieces in this quilt. Two of the three quilts I quilted for my friend had many pieced pieces. It amazes me how thrifty quilters can be, using what they had on hand to make things work.
The cats have been curious, but really aren't all that interested in it.
I keep it folded and covered with a large piece of plexiglass when I'm not quilting.
I have been working hard to finish up UFOs, but I had to join this sew-along. It is made with scraps and I have an abundance of half-square triangles.
I also have an abundance of scraps so I am cutting what I need to make up the difference.

Before I started on the HST Sew-Along I did work on a couple of UFOs. I had nine rows to sew together to get this Split Nine Patch quilt top finished. It was a Bonnie Hunter Leader-Ender Challenge several years ago.
My layout is different than the one pictured. It is now in the ready-to-quilt pile.
I also pulled out this exchange project from 2014-15. I decided on a layout and got fabric cut for sashing and cornerstones.
There will be a large border using the black print that was used in the blocks. It won't take much to get it to the ready-to-quilt stage.
They are all fused and ready to stitch. Instead of making ornaments I enlarged six of the designs and will put them in this old window frame.
How much is that Kitty in the window? He's priceless and not for sale!
Stay safe and well.
Happy quilting!
